EXTENDA, the Andalusian Promotion Office, and LANDALUZ organized an inbound trade mission between the International Purchasing Managers of the Asian chain and Andalusian companies in order to pre select the products that will be show in the Point of Sale Pormotional Campaing that will be held in China during the second part of the year.

8 out of the 12 companies that participated in this event were members of the association.

30 exhibitors, 40 quality wines, 300 gourmet products. Lovers of Spanish cuisine and wine, for whom the names of Granada, Ronda, Malaga, Córdoba and Sevilla conjure up not only beautiful places but also tables loaded with serrano and iberico hams, home-made pâtés, chorizo, tapas, seafood and fish, cheeses, green and black olives, extra virgin olive oils, balsamic vinegar, honey, wine, brandy and sherry, were invited to an exclusive gastronomic adventure.

LANDALUZ was there presenting its high quality gourmet products. APA San Sebastián, Alta Cazuela, Bodegas Barbadillo, Celestino Gómez Parra, S. A., Hacienda Guzmán, La Abuela Carmen, Oleoestepa, Productos Majuelo, Salysol, S. A., Sadrym, Usisa, I. A. Marciense and J. Garcia Carrión are the 13 members of the Certified Quality Association that showed their delicacies in the very popular Gellert Hotel of Budapest.

The organization of this gourmet festival was in charge of the Hungarian company PIRATEWINE LTD., company interested in being the exclusive distributor of the products from the LANDALUZ’s companies.

Landaluz attended to the International Gourmet Fair “Der Genuss Gipfel” 2012 in Hamburg, Germany.

The agro - food fair “Der Genuss Gipfel” is the most important gourmet event in Germany. It will was held the 23rd of April in the German City of Hamburg.

This fair is addressed to professionals of the food sector and it is deeply specialized in gourmet products. “Der Genuss Gipfel” is one of the most prestigious events of this sector and is visited by Deli Companies from all over Europe. This important event is organized by the popular association Corpus Culinario, composed by more than 70 retailers of the German gourmet sector.

This is the third consecutive year that LADNALUZ has been representing its members in this important event. 17 are the associated that showed their products at “Der Genuss Gipfel”: Aceites del Mediterráneo, Aecovi, Agasur, Artichoke, Camporico, Castillo de Monclova, Celestino Gómez Parra, Cesurca, Bodegas Doña Felisa, E. Moreno, Hacienda Guzmán, Herpac, Inddeco, Productos Majuelo, Productos Mata, Salysol y Unioliva. Thanks to the active participation of LANDALUZ in this event, it has been possible to show the delicacies of the Andalusian cuisine in the German gourmet market as well good professional contacts of the food sector, HORECA and deli shops.

Stand LANDALUZ en Alimentaria 2012

Once again, LANDALUZ was representing its associates in Alimentaria Barcelona 2012, where the association had its own stand where was possible to taste the excellencies and delicacies of the Andalusian cuisine. Around 40 LANDALUZ’s companies showed their products in this important event, having been able to make important contacts among importers and distribution chains from all over the world.

Almost 4.000 exhibitors, 75 represented countries and more than 141.000 visitors make Alimentaria one of the most important food and drinks trade shows in the world. This fact is recognised by the major international operators in food and drink manufacturing, distribution and trade. Alimentaria is a benchmark event whose success derives from highly specialised offerings, innovation and a tireless commitment to the show’s international focus.

World Championship Contest, Wisconsin 2012

The El Pinsapo Pure Goat Cheese from the Malaga Cooperative, Agasur S.C.A. was awarded with the second prize in the World Championship Cheese Contest 2012. The 2012 competition was hosted by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association on the 5 and 7 of March and featured a panel of 40 international judges. This year’s contest had a record 2,503 entries from 30 US states and 23 additional countries representing 6 continents.
